Why does Bridge need a neighbourhood plan?
A neighbourhood plan gives a community a much stronger role in shaping the development of the area where they live and work.
When adopted neighbourhood plans sit alongside the local plan when it comes to deciding planning applications.
Without a neighbourhood plan, decisions determining future development in our village will sit solely with the local authority (Canterbury City) and the local plan.
