Get involved

A neighbourhood plan is supposed to be representative of the views of the community it is meant to serve. Therefore it is important that everyone is able to participate in the development of the plan. There are a number of ways that you can get involved:

  • Attend committee meetings: these are run by the Neighbourhood Plan Committee approximately once-a-month and are open for all the attend and participate
  • Contact the committee: if you have any questions, concerns or comments you can reach the committee by filling in the form on the Contact the committee page
  • Attend the public workshops: once the draft plan is ready to be published to the community a series of public workshops will be held to present the plan and collect feedback
  • Comment on the plan: shortly after the emerging plan is published, a formal public consultation shall take place to receive the community’s comments on the plan.
